Columbus Welsh Singing Society

The CWSS will be singing at the Memorial Day Services in Radnor, Ohio, on Monday May 25th.  The day will start with a breakfast at the Radnor Congregational Church (United Church of Christ), followed by a parade and the services at the cemetery.  There will be an ox roast at the community center.  It will be a heart warming day – filled with both fun and inspiration.  All WSCO members are invited, and it’s a great opportunity to experience an old-fashioned Memorial Day in a real Welsh community.  For more information about CWSS performances, contact Ann (614) 885-8806 or j-gillard(at)sbcglobal(dot)net.

For more information about the singing society and their rehearsals, see the WSCO website http://www.welshsocietyofcentralohio.org  and the article on page 16 of this newsletter.

Welsh Folk Dancing Classes

We are meeting on 1st & 3rd Wednesday nights at the Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Hts. Ave. in the Clintonville area of Columbus.  The church is on the east side of N. High St. just one block south of N. Broadway.  If you’re planning on joining us, call or email so I can tell you where we will be in the building and how to enter, or check http://www.welshcountrydancers.org  for more information.    Click on “Dancing” and then on the link for “Class information.”   Contact: Donna, (614) 471-2620 or email info(at)welshcountrydancers(dot)org.
