I hope everyone had a great summer. We are looking forward to our October bus tour, gymanfa ganu and te bach, and the board is already planning your St. David’s Day celebrations.
Your Society is always appreciative of donations. Many individuals have found the annual gymanfa an especially significant time to make gifts in honor of or in memory of others. Gifts will be listed in the gymanfa program if they are received in time. There is a white form inside this newsletter for your convenience.
Again, I want to express my thanks to the entire Society, but especially the board for their hard work and support. We regret that we are losing board member Ronda Griffith-Grubb and wish her all the best. (Editor’s Note: see item in Member Highlights column)

Dianne and I want to welcome any and all to the wedding of Dana Moore to our son, Evan, to be held at Christ Lutheran Church on East Main St. in Bexley on October 13, 2007 at 3:30 pm.
The Welsh Society of Central Ohio is in dire need of someone to handle our PR needs, which include writing and submitting stories three times a year to the local papers to cover our events; notices to Ninnau of our events for their back page; and several articles a year for Ninnau about our events. In an effort to eliminate confusion regarding WSCO’s membership “year” for those who pay annual dues, the Board has decided to switch to a calendar year from the long-standing March 1st through the end of February timeframe.
This will also mean that your membership rosters can be distributed earlier.
Starting in 2008, if your dues are received by February 15th, you will be included in the membership roster which will be distributed at our St. David’s Day meal. Those not attending will receive their rosters by email attachment or, if we don’t have your email address, by regular mail. Providing WSCO with an email address will save our organization money on postage fees.
“Pro-rated” dues will no longer exist – there will be no carry-over for those paying late in the year. All annual dues will expire at the end of the calendar year.
