Columbus Welsh Singing Society

The Singing Society was formed in January, 2006, and has since performed at a number of venues, including: WSCO's annual events; a variety of programs in Radnor, Ohio; a March, 2007, Celtic Festival at the Gillie Center, Columbus, Ohio; various senior retirement facilities, several funerals, and a multi-cultural event tied in with the 2010 Titanic exhibit in downtown Columbus.

The chorus sings in both Welsh and English.  Welsh words are learned phonetically with the help of CDs and coaching by several Welsh-speaking friends.

The chorus is presently directed by Leslie Twigg and accompanied by John Davids, and is available for weddings, funerals, and other special events.
